Shipwrecked

Sorry for the seeming abandonment. My laptop is broken and I am in the process of buying something newer. So to both of my viewers out there...whoamIkidding...I mean, to all of the adcrawlers out there reading my blog for emails, I apologize.

See you soon.

The economic recession for dummies

The Subprime Primer

Seeing as I first started out illustrating my political opinions for my school newspaper, I still have a soft spot for current events. Especially illustrated current events. This one is hilarious explanation of the subprime meltdown that currently has our nation by the balls. Enjoy!

The most convincing devil I've ever seen

At about four minutes into this clip you get to meet Scratch, the most evil, toothy, soul-stealingest mean old bastard this side of the Mason Dixon. He can give you anything you want: talent, jewels, fortune and fame, with just a tip of his hat and a smile. That's right, all these can be yours...at a price of course.

painting time: 10 minutes
drawing time: 30 minutes
Didn't paint inside the lines when I was younger either. I think I see myself as more of a villain than a hero anyway.

The results would have been a lot more pleasing if I only had the right tools. Soon I will be upgrading to the current Adobe suite then all will be well.

I'm sorry that my updates have been so infrequent, fight fans. I just graduated and started a new gig, so its been a pretty stressful couple of weeks. Now however, it seems that things are starting to slow down. My goal this year is to make the best of my newfound freedom and write/draw one graphic short story. Stay tuned.

A Real American Hero

We too easily forget those whose hard work went into creating the stories we got to watch every weekday afternoon and Saturday morning growing up. Those fantastic adventures for He-Man or G.I. Joe didn't just materialize from nowhere. No, they came from brilliant writers. Yea,it is easy to forget that guys like him play a big part in shaping the imaginations of a generation.

To one of the men who taught a generation of kids after school that "knowing was half the battle". Gone yet not forgotten, your work shall live on in our hearts and minds. To one of the good guys:

R.I.P Steve Gerber.
