Political Cartoons!

I added a lot more detail to the original that flew in the Kernel.

Funny thing is, I actually worked for U.K's Delivery department for a summer! Ha.

I like this one alot. I liked it so much I was afraid to put any black and white contrasts in it for fear of ruining it!

This is only the beginning! I just warming up so stay tuned!

I like your cartoon. Nice work, keep it up. Do you do them on the computer or with pen? I do some of my own in pencil and scan them in. They don't come out as crisp looking but they still make their point I believe.

I'm interested in knowing if you used pen or computer for these as well.

Keep drawing and you'll see your quality improve dramaticly.

I use pens to create the drawings then I scan them into photoshop to put the blacks or the shadows in and clean up some of the lines.

I honestly don't know what the hell it is I'm doing with the blacks and shadows so most of the time it's trial and error.

Thanks for the comments!

DO you use a Wacom? If not, you may want to invest in one...it'll save you lots of time and even make you more proficient in drawing.

I own a Wacom tablet but I feel them to hinder my progress rather than help. I'm still sorta wet behind the ears when it comes to Photoshop and Illustrator, so that adds to the time it would take to bang out a drawing in time to fly in the paper.

Not only that, but you can call me crazy because there's something that just feels different when using Pen and Paper. Something that a wacom table can't simulate. Maybe once I become more proficient or buy one bigger than the 3 X 4 I own, all that will change.

I'll try to do the next one on my tablet and see how it ends up....
